RESPONSIBLE DEVELOPMENT

African Ownership and Lasting Local Value

African participation and responsible development shape ACMC's model from inception. Ownership, governance, education, skilled employment and local enterprise are part of project design. We will work with government counterparts, communities and development partners to define responsibilities and measurable objectives as opportunities advance.

1

Ownership and Accountable Decisions

We intend to structure direct project ownership alongside local African partners, respecting national sovereignty over resources. Clear rights, governance arrangements and documented partner responsibilities will support transparent decisions and long-term accountability.

Community Priorities from the Outset

Early engagement will inform how projects affect livelihoods, land use and local opportunity. Government counterparts and affected communities will help shape priorities, practical commitments and the measures used to track progress.

Environmental Stewardship Throughout

Baseline conditions, water management, waste, land disturbance, emissions and rehabilitation will inform project assessment and planning. Monitoring technologies and qualified oversight will support decisions and performance tracking through development and operations.

4

Skills, Participation and Safety

African professionals, workers and businesses will be integral to technical assessment, engineering, procurement, construction and operations. Education, training, knowledge transfer and local supplier development will build capability as the work advances. Clear safety expectations will apply to every delivery partner. We seek collaboration between African institutions, U.S. research partners and industry to support practical skills.

Integrity and Traceability

Lawful conduct, counterparty review, accurate records and defined responsibilities will underpin project relationships. Traceability of rights, technical work and relevant material movements will support accountable governance and commercial decisions.

6

Infrastructure and Value Beyond the Mine

Project planning will consider roads, electrification, water access and economic opportunities that can serve surrounding communities over the long term. Local processing and industrial participation will be pursued where commercially viable. We will assess success through project economics and lasting value for the countries and communities where we work.
